Firearms Transfers

TacOpShop will conduct firearm transfers on behalf of out-of-state sellers.  Utah residents living north of Salt Lake City can use TacOpShop to transfer firearms for the most reasonable transfer rates available.  Note that TacOpShop is not a class 3 dealer and thus cannot transfer machine guns, short barreled rifles or other class 3 devices.

Long Gun: $25

Hand Gun: $25

Each Additional Gun: $5

NICS Background Check: $7.50 (waived for Utah CCP Holders)

 

Instructions

1. Call 801-980-4862 to arrange the firearms transfer with us.
2. Tell the dealer from which you purchased your new firearm that they may download a copy of TacOpShop's FFL License from here.
3. Insist that your dealer include a copy of their FFL License in the box as they ship.
4. Insist that they ensure the package is shipped requiring insurance, adult-signature, and tracking information.
5. Tell your out-of-state dealer or sender to ship the firearm to:

6. TacOpShop will contact you upon arrival of your weapon.  In the event that you are unreachable, we will contact the sender to assist. Any weapon that is not picked up will be held for one year.  At that time, it will be considered property of TacOpShop, and will be listed for sale.
